The first Majesty Yachts 155 is due to launch imminently, but only now has the yacht’s updated exterior styling been revealed. Boat International has the first look at the never-before-seen images of the Majesty Yachts 155’s striking new design.

The 47 metre Majesty Yachts 155 will be the new flagship of UAE superyacht builder Gulf Craft’s Majesty Yachts brand. Sitting at the top of the builder’s Superyacht Collection line, she follows the recent launches of the Majesty Yachts 122 and a new Majesty 105, which will be debuted regionally for the first time at the upcoming Singapore show.

As COO Erwin Bamps pointed out when Gulf Craft revealed details of its Majesty 155 at the Monaco show last autumn, the superstructure styling can be altered for each 155, which are built on the same hull. By offering exterior as well as interior customisations, this move takes the semi-custom builder into platform-build territory, handily expanding options for its clients.

“The Majesty 155 shows how far we can go with our customization”, Erwin Bamps says.

Hull No 1 was moulded before she was sold, but there was still plenty of time for an owner of the first 155 to alter the exterior, resulting in the updated design we get to see today.

The exterior changes are easy to spot, as can be seen in the images above – namely with the windows being completely restyled, which not only lets more light inside, but gives the exterior a sleeker look.

The round portholes on the forward lower deck guest rooms have been changed into large, oblong windows, allowing for great views from the guest suites. On the main deck, the glazing has been entirely redesigned; previously there were five oblong and a few round ports which have been replaced by one continuous piece of glass. This massive cat-eye shaped window sweeps along the forward main deck across the owner’s stateroom. It not only gives a fresher look to the exterior design, but will allow for improved vistas from the master stateroom.

A first glimpse of the interior styling of the Majesty Yachts 155 shows the master stateroom, serenely decorated in natural colours and with a separate sitting area for relaxation.

Other updates to the exterior include the upper deck being extended and a new fitted sunbathing area installed, and the hard top has also been extended for added protection from the sun, now stretching to the mid-point of the deck.

Powered by twin 1,930hp engines, the new yacht is estimated to reach a top speed of 16 knots and achieve a range of 4,200 nautical miles.

Majesty Yachts is currently exhibiting at the London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show. The builder recently announced that it would build its second Majesty Yachts 155.
