Fifth Mangusta Oceano 39 yacht with custom M2Atelier interiors launched in Viareggio

The fifth unit in the Mangusta Oceano 39 series has hit the water in Viareggio, Italy. The three-deck superyacht was sold to a "passionate" owner, described by the yard as an "experienced navigator of the yachting landscape".

The model's contemporary exterior is owed to Italian designer Alberto Mancini, characterised by minimalist lines and glass gunwales on the upper deck for a clean visual profile with greater spatial perception and interiors bathed in natural light.

Despite being the smallest offering from the Oceano line, the Oceano 39 is recognised for its generous 330GT volume and design solutions that ensure a greater connection to the sea. For the fifth unit, the owner selected Italian studio M2Atelier for the custom interior design, though further details remain private.

The first Mangusta Oceano 39, Multiple, was launched in 2023

Key highlights of the series include a bow infinity pool with a partially glass bottom – allowing natural light to filter through to the master suite – and the aft water-level beach club, which has opening side terraces that increase the overall space.

"With its timeless charm, the Mangusta Oceano 39 can truly be described as a 'miniature megayacht', designed and built with painstaking care and meticulous attention down to the tiniest detail", said Nicolò Strocco, Mangusta sales manager, who completed the sale of the new build.

The fifth Mangusta Oceano 39 features twin 2,600hp MTU engines, offering a top speed of 19 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.

The new build follows the fourth unit from the series, which was launched in June 2025.
