Fincantieri Yachts has unveiled a new naval inspired 80.8 metre superyacht concept named Vis.

Designed in collaboration with Italian superyacht designer Francesco Paszkowski, the 80.8 metre yacht is named after the Latin word meaning “force” and “energy”.

The naval inspired concept was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show

Key exterior details of the design include folding out terraces, wide panoramic social areas and hexagonal shaped solar panels which shade the wheelhouse bridge.

The six deck yacht has accommodation for a total of 14 guests in seven guest cabins, including a private owner’s deck on the upper deck. This includes a suite, private terrace forward, gym and large windows. The crew quarters meanwhile allows for a staff of 23.

Elsewhere, the naval inspired yacht features a helipad and can carry a tender measuring 8.5 metres.

Designer Francesco Paszkowski described the yacht as “an unconventional six deck 80m yacht whose austere lines recall navy vessels, but whose liveability is enhanced by open-air areas and the comforts of a mega yacht”.

Elsewhere the massive 2470GT interior is decorated in “a minimal and contemporary style” illuminated by floor to ceiling glazed surfaces.

Power comes from a pair of diesel engines, providing a range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
