Voyage One: First AvA Yachts Voyage90 takes shape

13 March 2023 • Written by Katia Damborsky

Turkish yard AvA Yachts has announced that "construction is well underway" on hull one in its new 26.2-metre Voyage90 series.

The first unit, named Voyage One, is scheduled to go on display at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2024, while the second hull will follow closely behind, with delivery due in time for the 2024 Mediterranean season.

The new Vogage90 series will be built entirely in aluminium and the models have been conceived with a long range of 2,900 nautical miles travelling between eight to 10 knots. Twin Cummins QSL9 Heavy Duty engines will propel the Voyage90 to top speeds of 15 knots.

Voyage One can accommodate eight guests in four cabins comprising a full-beam master suite, two full-beam double suites and an additional double guest cabin. Two double crew cabins are on hand for a crew of four.

Elsewhere, the layout of this model will allow for a main saloon and dining area spanning 40 square metres which will make the most out of the yacht's 5.6-metre beam.

Chairman and founder of AvA Yachts, Atilla Küçükdiker, said the Voyage90 series represented a true "pocket superyacht" with "extraordinary" indoor spaces when compared to other yachts in the same size segment.

"She’s a cross between modern and retro and many features and equipment levels have been borrowed from those tried and tested in our Kando series of superyachts," he said. "Delivery of both will be made well before the start of the 2024 med season. We are really looking forward to showing Voyage One off at next year’s Düsseldorf show”.

The news comes shortly after the yard confirmed the first hull in its Kando 110 series, Lady Caroline, had been delivered to the USA.

Both the Voyage90 hulls under construction are being built on speculation and are listed as yachts for sale.
