Horizon Yachts unveils first 31m FD100 Skyline motor yacht

Taiwanese shipyard Horizon Yachts has unveiled the 15th unit from its Fast Displacement FD100 Tri-Deck yacht series – the very first from the line built in the Skyline configuration – ahead of its official upcoming launch.

The 30.9-metre new build, which is due to be delivered into the Australian market, combines the high volumes of the FD series with the raised profile of the Skyline adaptation - one of two configurations offered in the line. According to the shipyard, FD100 Hull 15 is distinguished from her sisterships by a dynamic exterior profile, which features a bespoke black radar arch alongside the signature lines of the model for a "sporty, fashion-forward" aesthetic.

The interiors of hull 15 – penned by Cor D. Rover – are said by the yard to represent a "contemporary nautical luxury"; breaking away from traditional interiors, the design opts instead for organic forms to mirror the movement of the sea.

As an example, the main saloon is decorated with high-gloss Koto wood paired with matte black, white lacquer and a mirrored gunmetal titanium ceiling for a layered and textural atmosphere. This open living space flows into Horizon's first-ever Open Galley design. A pioneering feature for the FD100 model, the area serves as an interactive hub, brought to life by a geometric ceiling design with integrated LED lighting and a Serenity Gold stone island.

Accommodation on board this unit is across a five-cabin layout, with a full-beam, main-deck master suite and four flexible en suite guest cabins on the lower deck. Notably, the forward VIP and one of the port cabins are equipped with sliding beds to convert between single and double configurations.

Outside is where the yacht really shines - elevated by the split skylounge and bridge deck aft, which are designed as the "ultimate open air social sanctuary". Here, there is a bespoke bar counter with an integrated Teppanyaki grill, an octagonal Jacuzzi with mood lighting and Tribù teak furniture. Closer to the water, a hydraulic swim platform and a garage design facilitate easy access to watersports.

Power for the yacht is from twin MAN engines, with stabilisers by Side Power systems for a smooth, quiet and efficient experience. The new build will make her official global debut at the 2026 Horizon Open House in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

According to BOATPro, Horizon Yachts has 12 24-metre-plus yachts currently under construction or on order. The yard celebrated the launch of the 14th FD100 unit last December.
