42.9m Vitters sailing yacht Guillemot relaunched following JFA refit

The 42.9 metre Vitters sailing yacht Guillemot has been relaunched following an extensive refit at the French yard JFA Yachts.

The yacht was relaunched in April ahead of the summer season after undergoing a full service and maintenance programme ahead of a multiyear circumnavigation.

The hull has been repainted in a metallic colour while the superstructure, mast and boom have all also been repainted. The interior has been upgraded, with the interior lighting changed from halogen to LED. Electronics and entertainment systems have also been updated while all air conditioning and ventilation systems have been replaced.

Works also included a full strip-down of the rig and winches for a full service, main engine overhaul and servicing of the deck hardware.

The refit has been overseen by Christian Poorte of A2B Marine Projects, who has represented the owner throughout the project.
