UAE-based shipyard Gulf Craft has kicked off the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) by announcing a new addition to its Majesty line – the Majesty 111.

The 33.8 metre superyacht is currently in build and is expected to make its debut at next year’s DIBS.

Accommodation for the Majesty 111 will be spread out across six cabins

Speaking at a press conference at the show, Gulf Craft’s chairman Mohammed Alshaali explained that the yacht has been designed with a strong focus on both private use and charter.

According to Gulf Craft, the Majesty 111 will set the precedent for all future Majesty models and will offer more than ever in terms of “design, engineering, architecture and technical features.”

With a “strong aesthetic flair” courtesy of Dutch studio Phathom, the yacht will feature plenty of natural light and a tranquil interior. Accommodation will be spread out across six cabins.

The new model will slot in between the existing Majesty 100 and Majesty 120 series. Speaking to BOAT International, Alshaali said: “We find we have a gap between the 100 and 120. [It’s a] price gap but also in terms of facility and space.”

Alshaali explained that it was deliberate strategic move to fill this space rather than add a larger addition to the Majesty lines. “When you grow horizontally, it means you’ve added another usage to the yacht,” he explained.  “What’s unique about the 111 is that it has two and a half decks. It’s a good balance between indoor and outdoor space.”

Alongside revealing Majesty 111, Gulf Craft is also debuting two new models at DIBS – the Nomad 70' and the Silvercat 40cc. The Nomad 70’ is a rugged, 21.5 metre explorer that draws on the established success of Gulf Craft’s Nomad line and bridges a gap between the Nomad 65 and Nomad 75.

The Silvercat 40cc is a 12.2 metre catamaran that follows in the footsteps of the Silvercat 34cc. Including its two new models, Gulf Craft is showcasing 14 boats at the Dubai Boat Show and is also debuting the Majesty 120.

The reveal of the Majesty 111 comes on the back of a busy time for Gulf Craft, which turns 40 years old in 2022. At the start of the year, the yard announced expansion in the Maldives and a new immersive Experience Centre in Dubai’s Port Rashid.
