Antonini Navi launches full-custom Evo 31 yacht Hanaa

Italian shipyard Antonini Navi has announced the launch of its full-custom Evo 31 yacht Hanaa. The 31.2-metre new build hit the water during a private ceremony at the yard's build sheds in La Spezia, Italy.  Delivery is scheduled for spring 2027.

The steel and aluminium yacht was commissioned by a "seasoned owner" who requested an "attractive and modern" design with all the desirable attributes of an explorer vessel – namely comfort, long range and seaworthiness. Italian studio Hydro Tec was chosen to design the yacht's exterior, naval architecture and layout, with Milan-based Hot Lab chosen for her interiors.

Her exterior profile is notably masculine, with unusual panels of glazing and black accents distributed across her decks

According to the yard, the yacht has been designed to offer the "space, comfort and quality of life" normally associated with larger vessels. As a result, Hanaa spans four decks, offering spacious interiors and generous outdoor areas to promote an informal lifestyle on board.

In a break from conventional layouts and a nod to her custom design, the main deck is home to neither a main saloon nor an owner's suite in the bow. Instead, the entire deck is designed as an expansive social space, organised around a spacious central lounge that flows directly into the al fresco areas and aft cockpit.

The bow is designed to be multifunctional, with a private terrace incorporated into the hull that can be used as either a dining area, an office or a space for meetings and work. Unusually, the crew mess can also be found on the main deck, with direct access to the galley, to improve service efficiency.

Above, the upper deck features both the helm station and areas reserved for the owner, including a master suite and a private aft terrace complete with a lounge, bar and jacuzzi - another feature typical of larger builds.

The sundeck is another welcoming living area aboard Hanaa, extending over 78 square metres and fitted with another dining area, a barbecue and sunpads. According to the yard, these features come together to form "one of the most spacious areas for socialising and relaxing in this category".

Guest accommodation is across four cabins on the lower deck: the same deck hosts a further three cabins for crew and a side garage for a tender up to five metres in length. The engine room and aft lazarette have also been designed with generous dimensions and optimised layouts to simplify operations.

The keel was laid in a private ceremony in January 2024, with the yacht last photographed in 2025 as construction progressed

"With Evo 31, we wanted to break the mould and demonstrate that, even in this size category, we have the capabilities to build safe, modern, top-quality bespoke metal yachts, with interior and exterior liveability comparable to that of much larger vessels," a spokesperson from the yard stated. "Evo 31 demonstrates that steel can be a viable alternative to fibreglass even for yachts of this size, representing a choice that offers strength, safety, the highest quality and great design freedom."

The shipyard celebrated the delivery of its first full-custom superyacht, Matilde 7, earlier this year. Meanwhile, last month, it announced the sale of the first unit from its XPD95 motor yacht series, which will enter construction this autumn, with delivery scheduled for 2028.
