Gulf Craft seems to be surfing on a wave of good news for a couple of years now, making it a leader in the region Middle-East / Asia. Their sales progress year on year is no less than 40% up in 2010, the first 135ft is under construction, and a new series made her global debut during the Dubai Boat Show, the Gulf 95 Exp.

The Gulf 95 Exp is a type of Navetta, a new concept for the UAE group. Built at the Majesty Yachts shipyard, this 29.13m composite yacht has a large beam of 7.1m creating generous volumes inside and out. The main deck is fully surrounded by windows increasing the daylight inside. The wheelhouse is slightly raised forward giving the yacht an explorer touch. All four guest cabins are on the lower deck. The master suite is full-beam and has a great views of the sea thanks to large windows on each side. The yard took care of the smallest details, an example being the galley fully equipped with De Dietrich appliances.

On the technical side, the Gulf 95 Exp is powered by twin Caterpillar C-32 engines of 1,925hp giving a maximum speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots. A smaller version with twin 1,000hp Caterpillars is also available offering lower speeds but a longer range.

The first Gulf 95 Exp was successfully welcomed by the public during the Dubai Boat Show last week and Gulf Craft has already decided to start a second hull.
