Taiwanese shipyard Horizon Yachts has announced the launch of the custom ES88 motor yacht from its facilities in Kaohsiung. Now officially christened KEΦI, the 27.3-metre superyacht was officially unveiled at the yard's 2026 Horizon Open House earlier this month. She now nears delivery to her experienced Australian owner and repeat Horizon client.
The standalone yacht was developed to reimagine the yard's existing E Series as a bespoke sport design and has been highly customised to her owner, who is also an "elite angler". As a result, the new build features custom additions such as a hydraulic swim platform and a professional live-bait well on the aft deck and a multipurpose tender garage with custom rod holders.
Repeat Horizon collaborator Cor D. Rover is behind the yacht's sporty all-white profile, developing a clean and contemporary aesthetic which also runs throughout her interior. Inside, KEΦI's social spaces are characterised by warm vinyl wood flooring, complemented by a matte white and leatherette ceiling.
The main saloon is host to curved seating, a marble-topped walnut coffee table and a dining area with another marble table. Moving forward, the central, open galley is adorned in dark grey matte cabinetry, high-gloss Koto wood louvers and stone countertops.
The main deck concludes at the wheelhouse, which has been designed for both navigation and enjoyment. Twin electric helm chairs benefit from natural light and a fresh breeze thanks to an electric sliding sunroof. Nearby, an L-shaped sofa and hi-lo table serve as the owner's private offshore office.
Accommodation on the lower deck includes a master suite with a white quartz-adorned en suite and a 65-inch drop-down television that transforms the space into a private cinema. Guests can enjoy a forward VIP suite or port and starboard cabins which can convert from twins to doubles.
Versatility continues on deck, where the foredeck offers a sunbathing area with dual-purpose folding sunpads and the aft deck serves as a large al fresco dining space with a teppanyaki grill, BBQ and ice maker. An electric retractable awning provides shade.
According to BOATPro, the shipyard currently has 10 yachts under development. Horizon Yachts recently unveiled its first yacht built from the FD100 Tri-Deck Skyline configuration.
