Horizon Yachts launches superyacht Muses for Chinese owner

7 December 2011 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

We announced the sale of this 36.6 metre Horizon RP120 motor yacht in early October, and now comes news that she has hit the water in Kaohsiung, Taiwan under the name Muses.

Muses is the second Horizon superyacht over 30 metres ordered by a Chinese owner, following the recent delivery of the 33 metre Lady Gaga.

Muses is also the third yacht of this series designed by JC Espinosa, following the launches of Trident I in 2008 and Espresso in 2009. Muses’ paint job - a distinctive grey hull - makes her easily distinguishable from her sisters.

DNV classed, the yacht accommodates 10 guests in a master and four double cabins. She is projected to reach a top speed of 16 knots thanks to twin 1,350hp MTU engines, which are complemented by zero-speed stabilisers and twin thrusters.

Following the completion of her sea trials, Muses will be delivered to her owner in China.
