Icon Yachts announced today that the hull of its Icon 250 superyacht project has arrived at the yard for work to commence on the new build project.

The 75.8-metre superyacht project features exterior design by legendary yacht designer Tim Heywood. The part-built superyacht project M25 hull was spotted at the Dutch builder's yard, stirring speculation that finishing the new build at Icon would soon commence. Icon reports that the project is scheduled to be completed by early 2017.

The full-size, aft deck swimming pool with a waterfall is one wow-factor on board, as is the large cinema and central glass elevator. Interior design is by Studio Massari.

The owner's suite is set forward on the upper deck, offering panoramic views, and opening to a private forward deck terrace. The Icon 250 superyacht will host guests in five large suites on a lower deck, which connect onto a large wellness area, gym and beach club.

The superyacht will carry two custom 10 metre tenders and a crew tender in a forward garage, accessed by large shell doors. She is projected to cruise at 14 knots and reach a top speed of 16 knots.
