ISA Yachts reveals 45m model for owners who "make sea exploration their vocation"

8 October 2024 • Written by Dea Jusufi

Italian shipyard ISA Yachts has unveiled a new, 45-metre explorer model known as the Voyager 45.

The yacht is aimed at owners who "make sea exploration their vocation", with a broad, aggressive exterior by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design offset by gentle shades of "champagne" and "pearly white".

The model will be built in steel and aluminium

The Voyager 45 is characterised by a forward superstructure and wide, open aft deck with several possible configurations, with one suggested combination including a 4.5-metre stern pool with a relaxation area, six-metre tender and tender crane concealed in the side handrail. Key numbers include a 9.34-metre beam, a volume of 445GT and a 2.6-metre draft.

Accommodation is across four lower deck guest cabins and a master cabin, found forward on the main deck. The latter benefits from an office in the entryway and a bathroom with double sink and a shower. There are further quarters for eight crew, not including the captain's captain located on the upper deck adjacent to the wheelhouse.

The model features large pocket-opening windows

Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design is also responsible for the interiors, with renderings revealing the use of light woods, leather details and a colour palette of cream and grey. The main deck saloon opens onto a lounge area with sofas and armchairs, with a 10-seater dining table positioned forward.

The upper deck is the entertainment hub with its sofa seating and large screen, while the sundeck is set up as a more general communal area with a sunlounger, semi-circular sofa, bar and al fresco dining. Two more structural sofas are inserted towards the bow.

The final major outdoor space is the beach club, which is furnished with chaise lounges and equipped with a Hammam, gym and bathroom with shower. The space is also designed with ceiling windows to filter in natural light from the deck above.

On the technical side, the Voyager 45 would be powered by twin Caterpillar engines delivering 746kW each for a maximum speed of 14 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
