Jet-Tern Marine signs the first Selene 92

19 October 2010 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

The boat shows in September seem to have had a positive impact on the industry, with news of another new order signed by the Chinese yard Jet-Tern Marine during the show in Cannes.

Sold by Mark Seaton (Selene Europe Group), the Selene 92 is the yard's first yacht over 24 metres and will become its flagship. This 27.93m motor yacht is built in GRP and has a modern design by Guido de Groot, respecting the shipyard's tradition of mini-expedition yachts. She will accommodate 8 guests in a full-beam Master suite, a double and two twin cabins.

On the technical side, her efficient hull with its bulbous bow will be combined with two economical Caterpillar C-12 engines of 660hp each. And her fuel capacity of 7,000 US gallons will allow for long range cruising.
