Licia Yachts Reveals 24 Metre Power Catamaran Explorer Concept

Turkish yard Licia Yachts has revealed a new 24 metre power catamaran explorer concept dedicated to long-range cruising.

The 23.95 metre Licia C24 Explorer has a beam of 9.85 metres and hull and superstructure built from epoxy composite.

Designed in-house, the yacht will feature interior design by Darnet Design and naval architecture courtesy of Notilus Design.

Comfort, performance and safety sit at the forefront of the design, which features 175 square metres of interior living space and 190 square metres of outdoor space.

The interior design has been described as “light and contemporary with a discreet luxury” thanks to the inclusion of “precious materials”.

Customisation is available, however. There are two interior layouts to choose from; one with accommodation for eight guests in four cabins and another accommodating 10 people in five cabins. Crew accommodation meanwhile is for a total of four people in two cabins.

Darnet Design has penned the interior

The owner’s suite sits on the main deck overlooking the sea with a 180-degree view and private access to the foredeck.

Power comes from a pair of Cummins QSM11 engines for a top speed of 20 knots and cruising speed of 10.5 knots for a range of 3,200 nautical miles.
