Maiora 29 motor yacht with new propulsion system launched

13 August 2012 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

Maiora, part of Fipa Group, has announced the launch of a new motor yacht in their 29 series.

Built in composite at its facility in Viareggio, this 28.9 metre motor yacht was designed by the yard's in-house team and its classic profile is instantly recognisable. But this yacht sees the introduction of a new type of propulsion for the Italian yard, using pods with contra-rotative propellers. They improve performance and reduce fuel consumption by around 30%.

She can accommodate eight guests in four cabins on the lower deck: a full-beam master amidship which enjoys great views thanks to large windows, a VIP and two twin cabins.

This new Maiora 29 will be delivered this summer.
