Mark Whiteley to leave superyacht designers Redman Whiteley Dixon

24 June 2012 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Hearing, to my consternation, that Mark Whiteley is leaving the design studio Redman Whiteley Dixon he co-founded 20 years ago, I call Mark to ask his intentions.

Mark says it’s simple: ‘I’m leaving RWD at the end of this year to take a break from the industry, relax and consider my options for the future.’ Brave man, but he certainly leaves on a high note with the recent launch of Feadship’s 78m motor yacht, Hampshire II, designed by Mark and the talented team at RWD.
