MJM Superyacht Fitout are hoping to take superyacht interior fit-out to the next level, with increased buying power, manufacturing capacity and technical capability, thanks to its recent take-over of Mivan.

With its recent acquisition of struggling fit-out company Mivan, MJM is now one of the biggest and most experienced marine outfitting contractors in Europe and the USA. The growth of MJM in the marine industry has been a steady one, and MJM and Mivan have a combined experience of 67 years in the business. The buy-out of Mivan's assets, and the retention of many of its employees, is good news for MJM Superyacht Fitout, with its superyacht division based in Antibes, France.

MJM Group, established over 30 years ago by the McConville family, prestigious marine, hotel and high-end residential portfolio includes Harrods of London, Mandarin Oriental Hotels, Gucci Retail, and Bulgari Hotels. They have also completed more than 50 interior fit-out projects for private yacht owners.

Connie McConville of MJM Superyacht Fitout says, 'I want to make refit more efficient in the superyacht industry by giving the superyacht owners a fast-track, quality-assured refit, led by the seasoned project managers, craftsmen and technicians who have over 1,000 years experience and a tried and trusted reputation in marine outfitting. In buying Mivan we have increased our manufacturing capacity to 250,000 square feet, which now makes MJM one of the largest interior fit-out manufacturer and installation companies in Europe.'
