Dutch yard Moonen Yachts has announced that the hull and superstructure of the tenth unit from its 122 Martinique model, YN208, have been joined during a ceremony at the yard's facilities in the Netherlands.
The 37.4-metre vessel is being constructed with a high-tensile steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, designed by long-standing collaborator Rene van de Velden. Vripack is responsible for her interiors.
She combines the proven capabilities of the Martinique platform with extensive opportunities for owner personalisation.
Based on the previous experiences of owners across the series, Moonen decided to revise the layout of the owner's cabin. Separate his-and-hers bathrooms have been introduced, replacing the previously proposed single en suite bathroom.
Nicky van Zon, managing director of Moonen Yachts, explained: "We’re always speaking with our owners and asking them what they would do differently or what they might improve.
“One of the things that came out of those conversations was the idea of a proper his-and-hers bathroom, so we decided to incorporate that into the next speculation build, yacht YN208.”

Inside, the emphasis on indoor-outdoor flow is a signature hallmark of the Martinique models. Renderings showcase bright, airy spaces with a warm, refined and somewhat metallic colour palette.
“We've created an interior that honours life at sea with American pine woods, Emperador marbles and the finest of Italian leather,” co-creative director at Vripack, Marnix Hoekstra, previously explained. “It’s designed to ignite the imagination and to show what is possible when materials, colour schemes and flow of space is used to reflect clients’ specific needs and aspirations for their life on the water.”
Accommodation on board comprises 12 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck with 180-degree views, two VIP guest cabins, and two additional cabins on the lower deck. Crew quarters are available for seven.
A 65-square-metre sundeck offers lounging and dining, with a sheltered bar and the option of a custom whirlpool. Meanwhile, closer to the water, there is a generously extended 20-square-metre swim platform with hydraulic Z-lift swim stairs. A hull-side tender garage also accommodates a 6-metre tender, and the foredeck can carry up to two Jet Skis.
The 122 Martinique model offers flexible technical capabilities, including worldwide shore power connectivity and dual US and European power outlets. Powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines, the yacht will offer a 4,000 nautical mile range at 10 knots and can top out at 17 knots.
The hull will now enter the outfitting phase of construction, with delivery scheduled for June 2027. YN208 is currently listed for sale with Richard Gray and Matthew Stone of IYC, both of whom serve as Moonen Yachts’ global representatives.
Lollipop is the latest and eighth hull in the 122 Martinique series, delivered to her owner this summer. BOATPro data shows two 122 Martinique yachts currently under construction.
