New 45m superyacht ordered at Holland Jachtbouw

16 May 2011 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

A couple of orders were reported this week, and numerous sales were also recorded, all seeming to indicate that the market is returning to a normal footing. More proof arrives with the announcement by Holland Jachtbouw of a new contract for a 45m sailing yacht.

This new superyacht will be a high performance sloop. Designed by Dixon Yacht Design with an interior by John Munford, this sailing yacht was created for the light airs of the Mediterranean.

Special features include a fully automatic Bimini and dodger, a double hinging transom door/swim platform, and a telescopic lifting keel. A rendering of the yacht will be shared by the yard soon.

Commissioned by a repeat client of the yard, this new Holland Jachtbouw project will be delivered in 2013.
