Brokerage firm Cecil Wright has shared new images of the 83-metre Feadship superyacht hull 830, also known as Project Solent, en route to outfitting. According to the broker, the yacht has now made her way through Rotterdam to the Feadship Royal Van Lent facility in Kaag, the Netherlands, where she will undergo works ahead of her delivery in summer 2027.

The project was technically launched from the NMC shipyard in Alblasserdam last week, marking the first time she had been seen following the announcement of her sale in September by Cecil Wright to a repeat client.

“It’s a privilege to be guiding this exceptional project from inception through to delivery," said Chris Cecil-Wright, founder of Cecil Wright. "Following her departure from Rotterdam, Project Solent is now en route to the Feadship Kaag facility for interior fit-out. This will be a yacht of innovation, remarkable pedigree, designed by two of the industry's most visionary talents and built by the masters at Royal Van Lent.”

Cecil Wright will be involved throughout the build process as the owner’s representative and part of the project management team.

Exterior and interiors for the new build are from British designers Malcolm McKeon of MMYD and Mark Whiteley of MWD, respectively. The former specialises in sailing yachts (known for his work on the 63-metre Project Dreamer and the 59.7-metre Sarissa) but has branched out into motor yachts as of late, seen more recently in a collaboration with Italian yard Benetti and Feadship's newly launched 80-metre Project 826.

“Project Solent embodies MMYD’s commitment to timeless design," McKeon said at the announcement of her sale in September. "Her exterior profile is defined by clean, enduring lines, reflecting our belief that true elegance lies in restraint and proportion. This yacht captures the essence of the owner’s vision, distilled into a concept that resonates with MMYD’s design DNA, performance, innovation and a connection with the sea.”

All other details of the yacht remain private, though BOATPro anticipates a volume of 2,707GT across four decks.

The news comes at a busy time for Feadship, which currently has 17 yachts on order or under construction, according to BOATPro. This includes its 140-metre flagship, the bow of which was sighted for the first time earlier this month.
