Pershing, a division of Italy's Ferretti Group, is preparing for a spring 2012 launch of its new 25m motor yacht, the Pershing 82, a development of the yard's Pershing 80 model.

Designed by Fulvio De Simoni with the yard's own in-house team, the new project features a more aggressive external profile than its predecessor, thanks to the wider lateral windows. This model also sees the introduction of a sundeck which is simple and functional incorporating chaise longues, a minibar and sunbeds.

Accommodation in the standard version is for eight guests in a master suite, VIP stateroom and two guest cabins, with an optional version comprising three staterooms and a lounge/cinema.

Exhilarating performance is promised by a pair of 2435hp MTU engines powering the Pershing 82 to a maximum speed of 45 knots and a cruising speed of 40 knots, with a range of 300 nautical miles.
