Italian design studio Piredda & Partners has revealed the 71.5 metre hybrid superyacht concept Ashera, which comes complete with a “surreal interior”.

“Ashera was born with the intent of giving birth to a true new classic."

Described as a “new design classic”, the yacht features a massive 1615GT interior which contrasts baroque design traits and luxurious materials with “a modern rule-breaking atmosphere”. This is created by “custom furniture and precious architecture” giving the yacht interior “a soul as bold as unique”, the studio said.

Ashera accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins including a 95 sqm owner’s stateroom and a VIP cabin on the main deck, as well as up quarters for up to 20 crew members.

The yacht's interiors are surreal featuring baroque designs and contemporary furniture

Elsewhere, a sheltered dining area around a fireplace is found aft on the main deck, while a beach club at the stern includes a spa and ample sun lounging space. Further amenities include a cinema on the main deck and an outdoor gym on the bridge deck aft which sits in front of a treatment centre.

The exterior meanwhile is characterised by a colonnade on the forward deck, alongside a spacious foredeck, left bare for a particular owner’s demands. Ashera’s sundeck includes a Jacuzzi flanked by a sun lounging area. Elsewhere, Ashera features a displacement steel hull, bulbous bow and aluminium superstructure.

The design was inspired by nature and the studio’s love for their Italian heritage. Speaking about the concept, designer Nicoló Piredda said: “Ashera was born with the intent of giving birth to a true new classic. [The yacht is not] extreme and doesn’t shock the market, but rather marks a new language of design in yachting.”

Full details of the hybrid propulsion package have not yet been announced but Ashera will have a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
