British yard Princess Yachts has shared interior images of the first unit of its new X90 series, Jenny X, as she makes her world debut at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, which is currently underway on the Côte d'Azur.
The 27.1-metre yacht hit the water in July, when she underwent sea trials before being delivered to her owners in August. The model - penned in collaboration with the shipyard and Italian design studio Pininfarina, with naval architecture by Bernard Olesinski - was first unveiled during the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival as the latest addition to the yard's X Class range, positioned between the 24.3-metre X80 and flagship X95 Vista. The X90 is positioned as an evolution of the previous X Class layouts, offering a low, open-plan "beach club-style" cockpit.

The contemporary interiors were designed entirely in-house, enhancing the connection between interior and exterior spaces with curved patio doors. A first for the shipyard, these doors connect the cockpit to the main salon and, when opened, transform the 10-person dining table into an al fresco entertaining space.
A defining feature of the X90 model is its "Super Flybridge," which includes the range's signature skylounge, generous open-air flydeck and sliding doors leading to the enclosed primary helm station.
The skylounge offers abundant seating and panoramic glazing, while the aft flybridge can be configured with a spa bath, bar, loose furniture or tender storage with a crane.
To create a greater sense of openness, the flybridge helm was elevated to unlock extra space on the "bright and sociable" main deck living spaces, which also benefit from full-height glazing that bathes the space in natural light.
The overall effect is more expansive and flexible living accommodation throughout the vessel, while maintaining the views and practicality associated with the X Class range.
Flexibility is further demonstrated through the main deck configurations. The owner can choose between an open galley with a breakfast bar and a fully enclosed arrangement. From the saloon to the owner's suite, the main deck remains single-level, as seen on the X95 model.
Forward on the main deck, the owner's stateroom offers uninterrupted 180-degree views through expansive glazing. An optional gullwing door provides direct access to a private foredeck terrace, which serves as a secluded retreat thanks to recessed deck equipment.
Accommodation houses up to eight guests across five rooms, comprising three en-suite guest cabins, though a five-cabin layout is also available. In addition to the owner's suite, four further guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. Crew accommodation is positioned forward and includes up to three crew cabins.
In terms of technical capabilities, the X90 also introduces a new hull architecture for the shipyard: the Princess Hybrid Progressive-Planing (H.P.P.) hull, developed in partnership with Bernard Olesinski. The hull has been engineered to optimise performance across all speeds, balancing efficient low-speed cruising with high-speed planing capabilities.
As a result, the yard said the vessel requires 10 per cent less power above 16 knots than the Princess Y85 model, while matching its fuel usage below 10 knots despite being about 18 tonnes heavier.
According to exclusive BOATPro data, Princess Yachts has five yachts currently under construction.
The launch and delivery of Jenny X mark an almost two-year return to the superyacht industry for the shipyard, following the unveiling of its 106 Odyssey model at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, the first over-32-metre model in a new range of larger builds.
