Vancouver-based shipyard Crescent Custom Yachts has shared a build update on the first 34-metre CCY110 yacht from its new Revive multihull series.
Currently under construction on speculation, the all-aluminium yacht's main deck structure and roof have now been joined, with welding and integration work underway on the major components of the hulls. The update comes after the yacht began construction in July.
A new offering from the Canadian builder, the CCY110 has been developed to deliver the volume and amenities of a 45-metre monohull in a sub-500GT, shallow-draught multihull platform. American designer Joseph Lazzara is behind the design of the new model, with engineering developed by Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architects.
Designed to support wellbeing and mindfulness, the Revive series features dedicated wellness spaces, "thoughtfully selected" materials and an abundance of natural light throughout - the yard championing the belief that wellness is an essential part of how owners and guests experience life on board.
“The way owners use their yachts continues to evolve,” explained Lazzara. “We designed the CCY110 around social spaces that bring family and friends together while delivering the comfort, luxury and capability expected of a much larger custom superyacht."
New renderings reveal previously unseen features of the yacht's design, including an approximately 142-square-metre bridge deck, curated as a spacious outdoor living, dining and entertaining area, and a "Sun Shelf Lounge" on the upper deck.
Central to the CCY110 is a 139.4-square-metre "Crescent Beach Club", which has been conceived as the yacht's primary social hub. Developed to blend interior and exterior living, the space features a host of amenities, including an open-air chef’s kitchen with a vertical garden wall, an infrared sauna, a spa and a dedicated cold plunge, as well as multiple dining and lounge areas. A key feature is the 100-inch interactive lifestyle wall to display the yacht’s daily agenda.
Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across a six-cabin layout, with five guest suites on the lower deck and a large owner’s suite on the deck above with a private bow terrace. The series' wellness package also offers integrated sound therapy, circadian lighting and premium sleep amenities, including organic mattresses, temperature-controlled bedding and soft ambient lighting.
The multihull has been optimised for shallow-water cruising in locations including Florida and the Bahamas, providing access to cruising areas "beyond the reach of many yachts of comparable size", the yard stated.
The project expands the yard's portfolio, while complementing its existing line of custom steel and aluminium superyachts. The Canadian builder currently has a 42-metre and a 45-metre steel and aluminium yacht also under construction.
Principal of Crescent Custom Yachts, Tim Charles, previously noted: “The CCY110 represents a significant evolution for Crescent. Building our first hull on spec demonstrates our confidence in the concept while giving an owner the opportunity to acquire a highly customised yacht on an accelerated delivery schedule."
The yacht is for sale asking CAD $31,000,000, equating to approximately $22,000,000 at the time of publication. As construction progresses, a future owner is encouraged to personalise the yacht's interior finishes, equipment and lifestyle features.
Crescent Custom Yachts will showcase the project at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show next week.
