Sacs Marine unveil Strider 22 'mega-RIB' chase-boat concept

10 March 2014 • Written by Tom Isitt

Award-winning yacht designer Christian Grande has teamed up with Sacs Marine to launch a new ‘mega-RIB’ concept - the Strider 22.

This huge RIB is designed primarily as a chase-boat and/or day boat for a larger superyacht, and will be fully-customisable according to the owner’s requirements.

There is a large covered saloon, offering shade to guests, with day head, galley and shaded dining. At the bow there are generous banquettes and a central area with retractable sofas and table that can be covered with a retractable sun awning. This creates a very large sunbathing and relaxation area, perfect for lazy afternoons at anchor.

At the stern there is an hydraulic swim platform and stairs. The platform can be lowered into the water to facilitate swimming and launching the tender, while the stairs can be lifted in order to give access to the tender garage, with a specially designed hydraulic launching system.
