19 May 2011 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

Today good news arrives from the OCEA yard, as their flagship left her shed this morning after three years of construction.

Christened Elisabet, this Commuter 155 is the largest yacht from this French yard, with a length of 47m. An all-aluminium motor yacht, she was designed by Joubert-Nivelt and her low displacement of 230 tons will give her a good performance and a long range. Powered by twin 1,300hp Caterpillar engines, *Elisabet *will reach a top speed of 18 knots, a cruising speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Her interior offers accommodation for 10 guests in a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck and four further double guest staterooms on the lower deck. Note the presence of a helipad on the upper aft deck.

Elisabet is now scheduled to launch on 1st June.
