Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche (CdM) has announced the sale of a second 45-metre explorer new build yacht inspired by the design of Giorgio M. Cassetta, just five days after confirming the sale of the first to a repeat client.
Penned throughout by the Italian designer, the explorer is said by the yard to take inspiration from its 45.7-metre Tremenda, which was delivered last year and recently won a judges' commendation at the BOAT Design & Innovation Awards 2026. Initial renders of the yacht showcase a clean and uncluttered exterior design with expansive exterior deck spaces.
According to the shipyard, this second unit will incorporate a series of design, layout and technical features that differentiate her from her predecessors.

"It confirms the validity of the original concept, but what makes this project exciting is how differently it has developed. Each owner brings new ideas and requirements, and this yacht has been carefully shaped around those.”
This second new build has been developed in close collaboration with the owner, Cassetta and the shipyard's technical team to introduce tailored solutions for the owner's cruising vision and lifestyle. As a result, the deck spaces have been reconfigured, interiors customised and technical specifications refined. A statement from the yard confirmed: "The result is not a repeat, but an evolution of a concept expressing a unique personality."
“The sale of a second yacht inspired by such an interesting concept is a clear demonstration that our strategy works," explained Vasco Buonpensiere, shareholder and CEO of CdM. "When a design is strong and the engineering platform is solid, owners recognise the value. At the same time, each yacht we build must reflect the personality and ambitions of her owner."
Buonpensiere continued: "This project perfectly represents our philosophy: proven concepts, executed with complete customisation. Achieving a second sale from the same design inspiration is a powerful endorsement of both Giorgio Cassetta’s vision and CdM’s capability to turn that vision into exceptional explorer yachts.”
BOATPro amounts 11 yachts currently in build or on order at the shipyard, including the first from its new 33.5-metre RAW 110 (Recreational All-Weather Watercraft) explorer series.
