New photos show the 60 metre superyacht Katina, which was launched by Croatian yacht builder Brodosplit and made her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. Katina is the second “cruise model” yacht built by Brodosplit.
The custom yacht was built to meet her owner’s brief, and she has special features such as a whisky room and an on board hospital.
The steel and aluminium displacement yacht has a 3.1 metre draft. Forgoing external side decks, she is able to take full advantage of the 10.68 metre beam to max out the internal volume.
Interior design comes from Turkish designer Ali Gez. Katina’s interior is defined by light and dark patterns, with woods in satin finished oak and high gloss walnut, complemented by cream leathers and plush fabrics.
The main saloon has a large, round area for relaxation, with a cocktail bar on one end and two semi-circular couches. A dining room welcomes 12 guests.
Notable features on board Katina are a gym with sauna and shower, whisky bar and cigar room with a fireplace, and a hospital room with bed and private bathroom. The sun deck has a Jacuzzi for six.The upper deck has six suites, all with their own private balconies.
The lower deck has the technical spaces, including the galley, laundry and cabins for 13 crew.
Brodosplit has a 185 metre sailing yacht in the works, of which more details will be released soon.
