Superyacht Mogambo launched by Nobiskrug

5 October 2011 • Written by Raphael Montigneaux

News came in yesterday evening that Nobiskrug's hull 782 was leaving the German yard's impressive 160 metre shed in Rendsburg. Christened Mogambo, the yacht was moored in front of the yard (see our photo).

Based on the same platform as Siren and Sapphire, Mogambo has a length of 73.55 metres, but her smoother lines were designed by Reymond Langton Design. The London-based office is also responsible for the interior.

Her general profile and original paint scheme make Mogambo one of the sleeker yachts launched in 2011. Little else is known about her at present, but we'll keep you updated.

Note that her sistership, named Graffiti (hull 783), was visible in the background of the same shed. Also designed by Reymond Langton Design, she will have a completely white paint job and is expected to launch imminently.
