Sy Design unveils 63m yacht concept Harmonia

Italian studio Sy Design has released a new, 63-metre superyacht concept known as Harmonia.

The design revolves around a single idea – lowering the main deck to one metre above sea level to "bring the owner closer than ever to the water". Consequently, the main deck is the "beating heart" of Harmonia, arranged with a bar, convivial kitchen and lounge seating turned "breezy veranda" thanks to foldaway side and aft doors.

Four decks house a collection of leisure areas, including an indoor bar, formal dining on the main deck and the bow, where a circular platform houses a fireplace and sofas that convert into sunbeds beside a circular pool. This is complemented by a second, larger swimming pool on the flydeck, crowned by a waterfall and adjacent to a central bar and lounge.

Accommodation is across four VIP cabins and an owner's deck that offers 70 square metres of private, outdoor space.

"Harmonia’s exterior styling is defined by a fluid, continuous arch that sweeps gracefully from stern to bow," explained studio founder Veronica Yien. "The result is a sleek and elegant profile, perfectly capturing the harmony that inspired her name."

Sy Design is a yacht design studio based in Bologna, Italy, specialising in the 40- to 60-metre sector.
