The third superyacht in the 60m Amels 200 Limited Editions series has been sold.
Construction on the yacht, which follows the launches of the first two hulls in the series, will soon be getting underway, with delivery scheduled for early 2024.
The sale was overseen by Amels and Damen Yachting sales director Rob Luijendijk, who said the yacht combined “original design and high volume” for the “ultimate luxury yachting experience”.
An evolution of the Amels 188, the Amels 200 features the “signature” exterior design of Tim Heywood and shares the same 1,015GT interior volume, naval architecture and hybrid electric power technology as the original model. Key changes include an extended length and larger windows.
“This is a yacht with complex, multifaceted forms, complemented with graceful flowing lines, which combine to create a real eye-catching yacht, of which I am extremely proud. Her many winding exterior surfaces allow the sunlight and reflections to add to the magic and make her really special,” said designer Heywood.
Custom interiors meanwhile will be designed by Winch Design. Key features include a four-deck elevator, sun deck gym, large aft decks and swim platform. Accommodation is for a total of 12 guests and 13 crew, including the captain.
