Overmarine has announced that two Mangusta superyachts have hit the water within a week of each other.
The first was the second hull of the 33m Mangusta GranSport 33 line, which was sold last year to an American owner based in Florida. The first unit in the series Perfect Lady debuted at the 2020 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Designed by Alberto Mancini, the composite entry-level yacht is powered by four Volvo Penta D13 735kW 1000HP engines for a top speed of 25 knots.
Other features include a 40 square metre master stateroom on the main deck, large Jacuzzi on the sundeck and garage big enough to hold two Jet Skis and a 5.65 metre tender.
“The Mangusta GranSport 33 is a highly successful model built for the American market, proving that the Mangusta brand is conquering an increasing number of American owners, thanks to both its yachts’ stylish exterior lines and the huge volumes and versatility found on every single vessel,” said Stefano Arlunno, Mangusta President Americas.
The second superyacht to launch was the 14th unit of the Mangusta 165E line, which features a layout specifically tailored to the requests of the European owner. Six cabins sit down below alongside an additional cabin that can be used as a wellness area with a massage table. The yacht will have a maximum speed of 37 knots thanks to four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines.
