Van der Valk Reveals 25.5 Metre Modern Flybridge Model
by Miranda Blazeby
Dutch builder Van der Valk has added a new 25.5 metre Modern Flybridge yacht model to its Flybridge series.
The 25.5 metre Modern Flybridge has been designed in collaboration with Cor D Rover and “offers a fresh take on this very successful series,” according to the yard.
Van der Valk said the emphasis of the all-aluminium model is on ease of operation and single-handed cruising.
Key features inside the "spacious" and customisable interior include floor to ceiling windows for far reaching ocean views.
Accommodation on board is for a total of eight guests across four cabins; an owner suite, VIP and two twins. There is also the option to instate a crew cabin for a maximum of two staff.
Powered by triple Volvo Penta IPS1050 engines, the yacht will have a cruising speed of 21 knots and top speed of 26 knots.
The first hull is already underway, with delivery slated for late 2020 in time for the 2021 season.
