Van Geest Design reveals 140 metre superyacht concept Pebble

Dutch design studio Van Geest Design has revealed a 140 metre motor yacht concept named Pebble.

This “pure and uncluttered” design is inspired by the rounded shapes of pebbles found by studio co-founder Pieter van Geest on holidays around the world.

Key features include a closed transom, to ensure boarding is by invitation only, and large fore and aft overhangs for maximum guest privacy on board.

Pebble also features multiple swimming pools, Jacuzzi and a dedicated helideck for exclusive access to the yacht. The studio described the concept as the “ultimate retreat” designed to blend into nature itself.

“Pebble was designed with the idea that it was sculpted by nature over decades,” the studio said. “It seamlessly fits in its ocean environment, water and the wind that defines its shape.”

It comes after Van Geest teamed up with Fincantieri to present a 106 metre motor yacht concept clad in reflective glass named Mirage.
