Williams Jet Tenders has launched a new product range specifically targeting the superyacht sector.
The first model in the new range of all-purpose, semi-custom superyacht tenders and chase boats is the Evojet 70. Scheduled to launch this autumn, the Evojet 70 will be followed by a larger sister model next year.
The seven metre Evojet 70 will have a beam of 2.65 metres and have capacity for 13 passengers. The model will carry “all the hallmark traits of the current Williams range”, according to the company, with a fuel capacity of 200 litres and power from Yanmar 4LV diesel engines.
Other key features include a deep-V hull, foldout walk-through transom and single level flat floor. Intended for yachts measuring over 40 metres, the Evojet 70 also includes numerous boarding options, as well as an optional folding carbon fibre T-Top and concealed LED lights for nightime boarding.
The new range is a result of Williams responding to its customer base, the company said, who are “progressing to larger yachts”.
Speaking about the new range, sales director at Williams Jet Tenders Mathew Hornsby said: “The new Evojet range is a real game changer for the business and it’s the start of the next chapter in Williams’ history. “
“Tenders placed onboard 40m+ superyachts are often custom built, and this ultimately means a higher cost and a longer lead time. Our proposition is unique, we can deliver a semi-customised product in a shorter lead time than our competitors.”
