Project Opal, a 70.35 m Motor Yacht currently being built in Turkey and to be delivered in 2027, is going to be the flagship of Ares Yachts.

Her top speed is 18.0 kn, her cruising speed is 14.5 kn, and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 5000.0 nm at 12.0 kn, with power coming from two MTU diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms, with 16 crew members. She has a gross tonnage of 1400.0 GT and a 13.0 m beam.

She was designed by Mulder Design, who also completed the naval architecture. Mulder Design has designed 64 yachts and created the naval architecture for 71 yachts for yachts above 24 metres.

When delivered, Project Opal will join a fleet of 127 motor yachts in the 70-80m size range. Compared to similarly sized motor yachts, her cruising speed will be 0.1 kn above the average and her top speed 0.44 kn above the average.
