Italian studio Cassetta Yacht Designers marked its 10th anniversary on 4 May with a gathering on the island of San Pietro di Castello in Venice. The event, held in a private residence surrounded by a secluded garden, brought together key collaborators and team members to reflect on the studio’s decade-long journey since its founding in 2015.
Guests arrived by water taxi through Venice's canals, with no formal program to follow. The atmosphere was informal, allowing attendees to connect and share stories while enjoying views of the Canale di San Pietro and the nearby Arsenale.
Giorgio Cassetta, founder and principal designer of the studio, addressed the group, thanking clients and collaborators for their role in the studio's success. He highlighted the achievement of Cassetta Yacht Designers having contributed to over one per cent of the active global superyacht fleet in just ten years.
“As one of my team said to me, today’s event perfectly captured the soul and core values that make our firm unique," Cassetta said. "We shared our joy and energy with our beloved guests, all exceptional talents in the industry, and I cannot think of a better way of practising our profession, arguably one of the most beautiful jobs that exist, than doing it with genuine warmth. It's a privilege to share this journey with such wonderful colleagues and clients. We feel very lucky.”
The event also served as a moment to acknowledge the studio’s team, including Matteo Lucisano, the first employee, and Leticia Perez and Giulia Rasori, who shared memories from the early days of the studio.
Reflecting on the event, Cassetta noted, "It captured the essence of what makes our studio unique. It was a celebration with warmth and energy, surrounded by incredible colleagues and clients. It’s a privilege to be able to do this work with such talented people."
Founded in 2015, Cassetta Yacht Designers is known for blending Italian elegance with technical depth. With a team of seventeen, the studio has completed over 70 projects across three continents, including yachts such as the 69.3-metre Spectre, 63-metre Metis (now Artisan), and 107.6-metre Luminosity.
