BOAT Business is to launch a free daily newsletter for the Monaco Yacht Show in partnership with Pendennis.
Following the success of the Cannes Yachting Festival newsletter earlier this month, BOAT Business will send five daily MYS bulletins with top stories from the show between September 22 to 26.
Subscribers will receive exclusive news, insight and interviews from the show each morning throughout the week of the festival.
“Clear trusted business news helps to keep our global community connected with the ability to make informed decisions, especially after such a long period when we haven’t necessarily been networking through industry events,” said Pendennis marketing and communications manager Beverley Hart.
The newsletter comes as shipyards and brokers reveal one of the strongest years for business on record following the coronavirus pandemic.
“We have seen that demand for build and refit slots at all the major industry yards is strong,” continued Hart.
“The industry is adapting to a post-Covid world well and clients are feeling more comfortable about making future plans.
“We believe that the industry has a steady period of growth ahead, with both new and existing clients actively participating in the market whether this be making the decision to purchase their first superyachts, all the way through to conducting a major refit project.”
Subscribers can expect to receive the newsletter before 6am CET each day of the show, while more news and content will be available on the BOAT Business homepage.
Since its launch in June, BOAT Business has seen subscriptions rapidly increase, with heads of industry and other influencers frequently reading the title’s exclusive news, features and analysis.
“At the start of the year, we set out on a mission to create a platform where the stories of the people behind the superyachts could be told,” said BOAT International business editor Nicholas Robinson.
“We still have a lot more to achieve, but it is wonderful to see how well supported BOAT Business has become in a short space of time, and to be able to work with Pendennis on delivering important news from one of the world’s most prestigious superyachting events is a sign we’re on the right path.”
