Following an extensive 30-month refit, the classic 50 metre (164’) motor yacht Malahne is now readying for charter in the Mediterranean from June 2015.
Delivered by UK yard Camper & Nicholsons in 1937, she has travelled the globe and saw service during World War II. Later she became one of Hollywood’s most famous yachts under the ownership of film producer Sam Spiegel and hosted stars such as Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly.
Designer Oliver Laws took care to restore her to her original 1930’s Art Décor style with custom made furniture and antique silver combined with fine modern comfort and technology.
Luxurious accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, two doubles and two twins, all with en suite facilities.
Water toys include two tenders, two Laser sailing dinghies, snorkeling gear, fishing tackle and a wide range of towables.
Malahne charters at €154,000 per week in high season and €135,000 per week in low season.
