On May 29 both Sailing Yacht A and Motor Yacht A were spotted at the Cap d'Antibes anchored off Villa Altair.

Delivered by Nobiskrug in 2017, 142.81 metre Sailing Yacht A is one of the most talked about superyachts of the year due to her extraordinary design, which boasts the world's largest carbon masts.

Motor Yacht A, world famous and measuring 119 metres, was delivered in 2008 by Blohm & Voss – Boat International was invited on board with legendary designer Philippe Starck earlier this year.

Both superyachts have been photographed a number of times cruising around the French Riviera. They have also been spotted off Capri, Naples, Porto Cervo and Sardinia in recent weeks.

Ready and waiting for the beginning of the Monaco Grand Prix, 80 metre Chopi Chopi was photographed alongside 110 metre Ona in Port Hercules, moored behind a mystery driver and a Ferrari LaFerrari.

While Lürssen-built Ona has been settled in Monaco for some time, Chopi Chopi has also been spotted in Gibraltar, Antigua, Anguilla, St Barths and Grenada since February 2017. She was delivered by CRN in 2013 and won the Interior Design Award at the 2014 Showboats Design Awards.

On May 19 _Chopi Chopi, Ona _and Cloud 9 were photographed side by side in Monaco. Delivered earlier this year by CRN, 74 metre Cloud 9 (which is newly available for charter) has since cruised to San Remo in Italy. Since her launch, she has been spotted in Ancona and Malta – undoubtedly, she'll be back in time to catch the racing.

A flurry of superyachts have recently arrived in the Côte d'Azur ready for the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, two iconic superyacht events signalling the start of the Mediterranean season. Find out which ones are turning heads.

Among the newcomers are 92.42 metre Tatoosh, 90 metre Lionheart and 69.65 metre Sherakhan. They were photographed all together on May 13 off Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.

Tatoosh, just back in the Mediterranean after a winter in Caribbean, was also spotted in Port Everglades on March 22. She was delivered in 2000 by Nobiskrug, underwent a refit in 2007 and can sleep up to 20 guests in 10 cabins.

After a winter in Livorno, Lionheart returned to Monaco some weeks ago. Delivered in Benetti in 2006, she has an interior by Green & Mingarelli Design and an exterior by Stefano Natucci.

Sherakhan, has also recently been spotted in Gibraltar and spent the winter season cruising in the Caribbean, making stops in Panama and St Maarten. Delivered in 1966 by Vuyk, she boasts a luxurious spa complete with sauna, gym equipment and Jacuzzi.

Spotted on May 13 off St Jean Cap Ferrat, 156 metre Dilbar and 99 metre Madame Gu crossed paths while heading to Antibes.

Declared Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2017 World Superyacht Awards, Lürssen superyacht Dilbar is one of the largest in the world. Delivered in 2016, she has recently been spotted in Monaco, where she spent some time earlier this week, and Barcelona.

Feadship-built Madame Gu is another winner of the prestigious Motor Yacht of the Year prize, which she gained in 2014. Her iconic blue hull turns heads wherever she goes and she has also visited both Monaco and Barcelona in recent weeks.

Having left Gibraltar on May 7, Sunrays was spotted on May 13 off Juan-les-Pins and arrived in Cannes on May 15.

Delivered by Oceanco in 2010, the 85.5 metre superyachts has also been spotted recently in Formentera and Cartagena in Spain, where she spent some of the winter season being refitted.

Spotted last week (May 10) in Monaco alongside Sailing Yacht A, 119 metre Motor Yacht A returned to her anchorage after a short cruise to Italy. She is now anchored off Cap d'Antibes.

She has also been spotted in recent weeks cruising off the coast of Naples, Ibiza and Turkey. Delivered in 2008 by Blohm & Voss, she won the 2009 Showboats Award for Most Innovative Yacht 100 Metres and over.

The 1943 superyacht Christina O was spotted in Monaco last week (May 13) and has since cruised to Nice and Cannes.

Earlier this year she has been spotted in Perama (where she underwent a refit), Gibraltar, Cape Verde and the Bahamas.

Delivered by Canadian Vickers, she underwent a total rebuild in 2000/2001. The 99 metre superyacht boasts an extraordinary mosaic-floored swimming pool and is thought to have hosted a party on board in Monaco.

World-famous superyacht Eclipse was photographed on May 13 anchored off the Cap d'Antibes, her usual location during the Cannes Film Festival, having just returned from the Caribbean.

Earlier this year she's visited Gibraltar, Port Everglades, the Bahamas and Puerto Rico. Joint winner of Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2011 World Superyacht Awards, 162.5 metre Eclipse was delivered by Blohm & Voss in 2010.

Alfa Nero arrived in Antibes on May 15, having left Hamburg on May 8. She has also been spotted in Gibraltar, Capri and Monaco in recent months.

Launched in 2007 by Oceanco, Alfa Nero boasts an Alberto Pinto interior, which won Best Motor Yacht Interior at the 2008 World Superyacht Awards.
