About the World Superyacht Awards 2019
Attended by a who's who of the luxury yachting world, 700 guests including superyacht owners, designers, top shipyard executives and ultra-high net worth individuals will gather in London for the 14th annual World Superyacht Awards.
Returning to London in May 2019 after almost a decade taking in stops including Amsterdam, Istanbul and Florence, the event celebrates the finest superyachts delivered during the previous year.
The World Superyacht Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 18 May 2019 in the heart of the City, in Old Billingsgate. Throughout the four day programme our guests will join us for a curated set of quintessentially luxurious experiences running from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 May.
The social activities will commence on Thursday with early arrivals choosing from one of two tailored events - a day of Golf at the exclusive St George's Hill club, or a country day and clay shooting experience at West Wycombe House. Thursday evening will then offer an option to join our 'Secret Supper Club' at one of several intimate dinner parties at unique locations in London.
On Friday guests will have the opportunity to relive the Golden Age of Travel aboard the iconic Belmond British Pullman, sister train to the Venice-Simplon Orient Express, before joining us for cocktails, canapes and entertainment during our Welcome Party, hosted at the historic Kensington Palace.
Cultural activities and bespoke experiences, offering behind the scenes glimpses and exclusive access to 'London life', will keep guests entertained during Saturday, offering networking and fun with fellow guests.
The main event will take place on the evening of Saturday 18 May. Gathering at historic Old Billingsgate, guests will be welcomed with a champagne reception, followed by dinner, fabulous entertainment and the awards themselves. All the 2019 award winning superyachts will be announced during the ceremony, giving owners, design teams and yacht builders the change to take the stage to collect their coveted Neptune trophy.
Sunday 19 May will offer attendees a relaxed brunch, bringing guests together one final time for a fond farewell.
