Barcelona superyacht marina OneOcean Port Vell will be bringing the Mediterranean to Mayfair this season with a late summer pop-up bar at the Westbury Hotel.
Located within the hotel’s existing Polo Bar, the four-day pop-up will see head mixologist Carmine Catena join forces with those at the OneOcean Club to add a Catalan twist to the bar’s famed Tanqueray 10 gin and tonic menu. Fine herbs, spices and botanicals will be used to create delicate gin infusions which will then be hand-blended into the Polo Bar’s popular cocktail menu.
Highlights include the Pearl Gem – tea-infused Tanqueray 10 gin shaken with lychee, lime, sugar, Champagne and pineapple foam – or opt for a traditional G&T created with a light and unusual rosebud-infused gin.
This event marks the second year of collaboration between OneOcean Port Vell and the Westbury Hotel. Last year’s event saw the pop-up take place at the marina’s BlueWave bar with the superyacht set sipping on Blue Lady Tea and Grapefruit Peel cocktails at this popular Barcelona destination.
