Private aviation company VistaJet has teamed up with auction house Christie's to offer a series of exclusive travel experiences surrounding the global tour of The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller. The collection will go on sale at Christie's New York in May and is believed to be the most valuable private collection offered for auction, with all proceeds to go towards the family's philanthropic efforts.

The global tour started back in November in Hong Kong and is set to travel to Christie's flagship galleries in London, Beijing, Los Angeles and Shanghai before reaching Christie’s Rockefeller Centre for the May 7-11 sale. During each stop on the tour more artworks from the collection will be disclosed. Highlights, so far, have included Monet’s Nymphéas en fleur and Picasso’s Fillette à la corbeille fleurie which David Rockefeller acquired in 1968 from renowned American novelist Gertrude Stein.

Claude Monet's Nymphéas en fleur is a highlight from the collection so far.

Along with being the headline sponsor of The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller’s worldwide expedition, VistaJet is offering customers three customisable experiences consisting of previews, private dinners, lectures and talks.

First up is the World of Art Experience, which offers the opportunity to fly VistaJet to each of the exhibition locations and enjoy a private tour of The Collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller. The package also comes complete with a year-long membership to global arts club The Cultivist.

VistaJet are offering three special experiences as part of its sponsorship of the collection's global tour.

The Direct Experience offers clients flying with VistaJet to any of the tour locations complimentary membership, worth $10,000, to the brand's mobile booking service VistaJet Direct. This membership equips discerning travellers with full access to the app’s many services, such as special rates for one way and empty leg flights.

Finally, the Rockefeller Experience will give up to ten guests travelling to New York with VistaJet a rare invitation to a behind-the-scenes private tour of Kykuit, the National Trust landmark of the Rockefeller Estate in Pocantico Hills. After previewing the collection, guests can savour a Rockefeller-inspired dinner at one of New York's most esteemed venues before viewing the live auction at Christie’s Rockefeller Centre, alongside notable figures of the art world.

Pricing for each of the experiences is available upon request. For more information visit vistajet.com/theartofflying.
