Whether you prefer a Chardonnay or Riesling, the right glassware can go a long way in getting the best out of your tipple. If you've got a particularly aromatic wine, you don't want to miss out on half the pleasure because you're drinking from the wrong glass.
What makes a good wine glass?
In our book, bigger is always getter, it's got the be big enough to get your nose in and really get a good whiff. It's got to have enough depth so you can swirl the wine inside your glass to unlock the aromas within. Wine glasses tend to be delicate with thin rims and stems, the base is the most robust section usually wide enough for you to get a good grip on the glass without having to hold the bowl of the glass and warm your drink.
