The Welcome Party

The 14th World Superyacht Awards in association with Oyster Yachts were held in London from 16 – 18 May 2019. Celebrating the finest yachts delivered in 2018, the awards allow owners, designers, builders and members of the yachting industry to catch-up, network and celebrate the accomplishments of the previous 12 months.

The weekend began with a Welcome Party hosted by Stefano Ricci at Kensington Palace.

The Awards

The World Superyacht Awards ceremony was held at Old Billingsgate on the banks of the River Thames. After welcome drinks and a three course meal, guests were treated to a performance of award-winning choreographic work by Company Wayne McGregor, before television personality Natasha Kaplinsky compered the prize giving.

The Sailing Yacht of the Year, presented by Richard Hadida of Oyster Yachts was presented to Black Pearl.

The Afterparty

Guests were entertained by Sophie Ellis-Bextor and enjoyed drinks courtesy of Mrs Fogg’s, Inception Group.
