In the wake of the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show, BOAT International welcomed its select guests to the annual Saint-Tropez Sundowners event on 2 October 2023. The soirée was sponsored by esteemed partners including the Bermuda Tourism Authority, Leo Dean, The Glenrothes and Jaquet Droz.
The yacht
Set against the backdrop of Saint-Tropez, the event was held on board the magnificent 82.6-metre Talitha. The classic yacht, originally crafted in 1930 by Krupp Germaniawerft, has undergone several meticulous refits, with the most recent one in early 2023. Anchored in the area during the prestigious Les Voiles de St Tropez, a tender service was provided to whisk attendees from the port to the party.
The guests
With over 90 distinguished guests from all corners of the superyacht industry, BOAT International welcomed yacht builders, designers, brokers, owners and industry professionals to the event.
The food and drinks
As guests stepped on board, they were greeted with the delectable Bermuda Rum Swizzle cocktail, featuring the renowned Gosling's Black Seal Rum. Throughout the evening, guests were offered a selection of wines sponsored by Whispering Angel. Additionally, an array of canapés and a sumptuous buffet-style dinner was served.
The entertainment
Entertainment for the evening was the talented singer and pianist, Arlene, provided by GF Entertainment.
The sponsors

Leo Dean, known for its upscale clothing, showcased its latest collection.
The Glenrothes, renowned for its exceptional whiskies, offered an exclusive preview of its groundbreaking Philos: the world's first decanter designed to be used on the open sea.
