Now officially open, the all-new Cala del Forte is set to be one of the leading marinas in the Mediterranean. Designed and constructed in Ventimiglia purely to satisfy the growing demand for superyacht mooring facilities in the area, Cala del Forte neighbours Port Hercules and Fontvieille just 7.9-miles away from the Principality of Monaco.
The marina’s circular layout is tucked away within the coastline to fit perfectly into the surrounding environment – a design created in partnership with the University of Florence to be at the forefront of environmental sustainability. Cala del Forte is also fitted with photovoltaic panels, charging points for local electric cars and boats, air-conditioned waste disposal services, recycling systems for waste management, low energy consuming LED lighting systems and electric golf carts and forklifts.
Up to 178 berths are on offer for yachts measuring from 6.5 to over 70 metres in length. A yacht owner, their guests and crew will be treated to first-class hospitality with the choice from the marina’s 15,000 m2 of promenades and gardens and 35 shops, restaurants, coffee shops, gyms, nautical and non-nautical service providers and more.
The 49.9-metre Zeus I and the 39.5-metre Kitty were just a few of the yachts present for the marina's official inauguration attended by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the marina's top team.
Yachts measuring up to 30 metres in length can be hauled, assisted and launched from the nearby shipyard, and visitors can make use of the Monaco to Cala del Forte sustainable shuttle service, Monaco One.
