The 40.7-metre motor yacht King K is newly listed for sale with David Legrand of Fraser.
Built in steel by Feadship in 1981, her classic lines are by De Voogt Naval Architects and she has a timeless interior finished in glossed woods, plush fabrics and rich textures.
She was launched as Carmac VI and commissioned as one of three Feadships built for the same owner. The broker described her as being appealing to a Feadship connoisseur and "one of the most well regarded Feadships of her generation".
King K boasts six well-appointed cabins for a party of 12, including a master at main deck level, as well as a large saloon, swimming platform and flybridge deck reconfigured to stow the tenders while at sea. Dining options range from a 12-seater table in the formal dining salon, to traditional aft deck and contemporary upper deck arrangements for al fresco meals.
There is a certain charm about the classic yacht for sale that would doubtless be appreciated by owners with a fondness for the exclusive Feadship Heritage Fleet.
Powered by twin 675hp General Motors engines the 387GT vessel cruises at 10 knots with a maximum speed of 12 knots.
Lying in Frejus, France, King K is asking €3,500,000 with VAT paid.
