The 47.1-metre Wider motor yacht Bartali has been sold with Alessandro Diomedi of Moravia Yachting and John Cohen of Merle Wood & Associates representing the seller, and Tag Yachting Ltd. representing the buyer.
Delivered in 2017, Bartali has only been used privately to date and is consequently in immaculate condition with low engine hours. She boasts a clever layout by Ideaeitalia, a large interior volume and operational efficiencies, with a sculptural exterior by Fulvio De Simoni.
Her impressive diesel-electric power system significantly minimises noise, vibration and fuel consumption. The epitome of a modern yacht, Bartali was victorious in the category for displacement motor yachts below 500GT with an LOA between 42 and 46.9 metres at the World Superyacht Awards 2016. She is credited for her bright interiors and clean exterior lines, and demonstrates scaled-down desirable features that are predominantly seen on much larger yachts.
With no traditional engine room to consider, the focus could remain on an innovative change in scale. From the float-in garages to the breezy cabana-like space created by the full-height sliding windows, broad side decks and long aft deck located off the upper saloon, Wider is fixated on disrupting conventional design codes.
Bartali can accommodate 11 guests across five cabins. Bedecked with its own technical treats, the master suite, located on the main deck, hits the sweet spot between an indoor and outdoor lifestyle. All at the touch of a button, the cabin window powers open for fresh air while underway, while at close, a large, marble-clad section of superstructure folds out. Press it again and teak decking slides out from under the floor and railings rise up.
Her 90-square-metre beach club in the stern combines the functions of a tender dock and swimming pool, which can be dismantled, tender slides drawn in and the water drained out when adventurers return.
Powered by a hybrid propulsion system, the 484GT yacht for sale has a transatlantic range of 4,800 nautical miles and a top speed of 14 knots.
Bartali was last asking €16,700,000.
